07/27/2008 - As most probably know by now, the Berlin Borough 12's State Championship run ended Sunday with a 3rd Place finish, behind Pequonnock in 2nd and Bordentown who captured the State Championship last night. The Berlin 12's played very competitive baseball and the team showed everyone that Berlin baseball can match up equally with any team in the State.
In game action, Connor Travis, Zach Porter and Shane Graham provided outstanding starting pitching performances. Billy Beasley, Dylan McCarty and Shane Graham lead the offense with strong hitting. Ben Hoffman at SS and Corey Kreston at 2B played solid defense in the critical middle infield positions.
